What Is SouMed SafeNet?
As Liberia’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) shift to digital platforms, they face new threats—from phishing scams to data theft and ransomware. Yet many lack the knowledge or resources to defend themselves.
SouMed SafeNet is our response—a homegrown cybersecurity initiative launched by SouMed to equip Liberian SMEs, schools, and individuals with the tools, training, and support to stay safe online.
Our mission: Make cybersecurity simple, practical, and accessible for all.
Why Cybersecurity Matters Now More Than Ever
In the last few years, we’ve seen:

Since launching in October 2024, SouMed SafeNet has:

- Partnered with LISAC Liberia, Wannie Studios, and other community-focused organizations
- Protected digital spaces for education, business, and youth leadership groups
